"I had a face lift in cyprus with Burford. The staff, service and clinic were excellent. afterwards I got a numbness and tightening behind my ear and down the muscle. I was told this could take upto two years to clear but is normal. It's been two year six month and it still happens but far less frequently."

"I initially had a breast augmentation with Burford in 2003. The initial consultation was in london and helpful. I was advised the augmentation itself would give the uplift I was also considering so was advised this would not be necessary - not pushing extra surgery was a nice suprise. Unfortunately the implants used had to be smaller than Dr Skarparis had hoped and so did not result in the uplift. I therefore again had surgery in 2007 to give the uplift, this time insertion was around the nipple. I unfortunately had a sever reaction to the internal stitches which is still occuring over a year after surgery. The scaring is quite bad though not too bad considering but I did find getting aftercare once back in the UK difficult and have relied on the NHS. I could arrange to meet Dr Skarparis in london but there was often a long time until he was in the UK and limited availability, and then I did not feel really provided the comfort I needed as I was, I think understandable, really quite worrid. Just a point to consider when thinking of surgery abroad. This is by no means the cheapest abroad surgery but the care is good."

"I've had two operations in Cyprus,the first was a breast augmentation about 5 years ago,I'd never had anything done before that so was obviously very anxious,I couldn't afford the operation in England and very sceptical about going abroad ,but after finding Burford medical and reading all about the clinic and Dr Skarparis's previous work I was happy to go ahead.He is a very nice man and so are all the staff at the clinic,you're looked after very well from the moment you walk in the door.The second op I had was a tummy tuck,which also went very well,the only thing I will say is if you're booking your own accomodation make sure you check that the hotel is in larnaca town centre ,so that you're nice and close and don't have to get taxi's.If you're abit anxious phone Steve or Malcolm and they will let you know what to do.I would definately recommend Burford Medical to anyone and would go again myself."

"I had nose and breast enlargement surgery in March 2007. The inital consultation in London was friendly, to the point on what can be realisticly achieved, and was the best out of all companys i looked into as there was NO pressure sales person hounding you. Good price, i opted to get own flight and accom and they worked around my preferred date.
This was my first surgery and was nervous but the nurses (2 were english) put me at ease, it was the cleanist clinic i have ever seen and my mum could stay overnight with me. I was put at ease until i was under...next im awake..within hour i feel fine..no pain..then the company sent flowers with a personal message which was touching.
The aftercare has been good and am very pleased with Burford and Mr Andreas gave me very natural breasts that suit my shape..i didnt want to say a size i just wanted them to look natural to my body shape.. and thats what i got, and the scars are amazingly neat! And a smaller nose thats still healing but...no complaints. So good and easy the bad part is i could get addicted."

"I attended this clinic around May 2000, to have a breast enlargment with a Mr Andreas. The cost was significantly cheaper than here in the UK. Mr Andreas was fantastic and done a excelent job. The hospital was nice and clean, unlike uk hospitals and staff were so nice, i have not got one bad word to say about the whole experience. I am planning to go again in a few years time to have them done again!!"
