"At the age of 44 i thought i was too young for dentures, which is all i had to look forward to. I was already wearing loose fitting plates, top and bottom from a couple of accidents, gum disease and smoking. My dentist said the teeth i did have left would only last another five years and my only option now was implants but at two and a half thousand pound an implant that was never likely to happen! Fortunately though i caught a programme on tv about dental treatment abroad and started researching it. I chose the Dental Implantoprosthetic Centre in Rovinj because i had spoken to some previous patients of Dr Zeljko Popadic and got good feedback plus after seeing my xrays he said he could help me for a third of the price i would of had to pay at home. All the team at the surgery are very friendly and extremely professional and want what is best for you, your happiness being their number one concern. They talk you through the whole process checking all the time you are happy with everything, in short the exact opposite of my dentist at home. They can sort out accomodation, travel to and from the airport and anything else you may need, all you need to do is ask. The area is gorgeous, the people kind and curteous, what more could you ask for. It`s the first time i`ve enjoyed going to the dentist and i would definately recommend them ."

"My boss and I are now trusted clients of Dr Zeljko Popadic and we have had a lot of work done. I can vouch for his expertise and would recommend him for any impantology work. I was surprised at how easy the whole process was, as I was expecting it to be very painful. I have had seven successful implants. I also had some crowns replaced which match my existing teeth perfectly, and several metal fillings removed and replaced with white fillings. Several friends have remarked on how good my teeth look. The whole treatment has cost me less than a third of the price I would have paid in England and the customer care is better than in England. The dentists are all highly qualified, friendly, young (30's-40's)dedicated, and speak English. At the outset the implantologist,Dr Zeljko Popadic spent time going through my digital x-ray explaining the condition of all my teeth, the quality (or lack of it!) of previous root canal treatment. My old dentist in England never explained anything properly. Rovinj in Croatia (see attachment)is a lovely place with a venetian feel to it as it has a lot of cobblestone streets and alleys. There are plenty of guest houses to choose from. I can assure you that the whole experience is unforgettable."

"I suffered from gum disease for many years and was fearful of eventually having to wear dentures. Implants seemed to be the only solution but a dentist quoted me £50k in the U.K. so I looked at the Treatments Abroad website for alternatives. Fortunately I came across the surgery of Dr Popadic in Rovinj( D.I.C) who quickly examined an x-ray I e-mailed and confirmed he could start treatment on my first visit. I needed some extensive work, including bone regeneration, but the total cost was just over £10k., a very significant saving even allowing for the costs of flights etc. It would be difficult to overstate the quality of treatment and care received and is in stark contrast to that provided in visits to Dentists at home. The surgery is spotless, perfect English is spoken and the staff are very friendly. Add to this the delightful resort that is Rovinj and a visit to the dentist becomes a wonderful experience! Of course the best fact is that you come away with an excellent smile which has done wonders for my confidence."

"Having suffered at the hands of several dentists in the UK I decided to take a chance and go abroad. It's not a decision I've regretted. Friendly staff, pleasant surgery and second to none dental work. The price of dental treatment is much lower than in the UK and is in my own experience far better. The surgery is located in Rovinj, a delightful town only a short distance from Pula so access via a low cost airline is relatively easy even for us in the far north. Rovinj has lots of bars and restaurants where you can relax after visiting the surgery."
