"After a consultation in London on 18th Jan 2010 with Dr Gary Horn, I then made a surgery appointment for 8th Feb 2010. My partner and I drove from Norfolk, UK to Brussels and used the Dover-Calais ferry crossing. We stayed at the Hotel De Fierlant the night pre and post op. Although they were running late and my operation was later in the day than anticipated, everyone was very helpful and understanding as I was really scared. Twilight sedation is great and i certainly felt and knew nothing. I was left in recovery for as long as i wanted and there was certainly no throwing us out of the door feeling. I was in recovery for 2 hours and it was gone 8pm when we left. My new breasts are less than one week old so i cannot comment on their outcome at present, but everything appears to be going well and im not in much discomfort at all. I would certainly recomment Elyzea to anyone."

Lipo at ElyzeaDate: 08 July 2009
Pros: fabulous service
"I have just had lipo 3 days ago at this clinic to the hips, buttocks, inner and outer thighs and knees. Although it is early days yet I am so impressed with what I have seen and experienced so far. Mine was a major job undertaken by Dr Caroni with a lot of fat removed, so I was expecting heavy bruising, swelling and stiffness. 3 days later the bruising is minimal, the scars barely visible already and I am up and about without nearly the level of pain I was expecting. Best description for it is moderate/mild discomfort. I think Dr Caroni is an extremely skilled surgeon, and although there is some swelling (which is normal) I can already see the shape he has created and it is amazing! The clinic itself was spotless and the staff and nurses so helpful. Would highly recommend this clinic, particularly as, coming from London, the price was nearly half what I would have paid in the UK. Would strongly advise though to have someone with you if coming from outside Brussels, and to spend at least one night there after, as the sedative leaves you dozy for a good day or so."

"At the age of 28 and being a cup size 38aa (which by the way doesn't exist in bra sizes) I decided that I really would love to have some shape rather than be completedly flat chested. No one had ever really made me feel bad about being so tall and broad and yet totally flat chested, but I felt uncomfortable and longed to feel more feminine, however I did not want to have a huge chest that would draw too much attention to me.
I researched hospitals and surgeons and found a hospital in Harley Street that came recommended and I even got my doctor to check them out to ensure I had good quality surgery and I went ahead with my breast enlargement.
To cut a very long story short Imy breast enlargement operation seemed to have gone well and I was happy with my new 38b chest until 4 years later when the implants attached to the muscle which resulted in a lot of pain. The surgery was re-carried out at full cost again to correct the errors. Within 4 years exactly the same problem happened again and i was told to take up to 8 neurophen a day to subside the pain and I was charged £150 for this bit of advice, which I felt was totally irresponsible of them and rather unhelpful.
am now 36 years of age and have just gone through the surgery for the third time which is rather upsetting for me. However, after two very disappointing and painful experiences with one of the Harley Street hospitals I decided to try out Elyzea cosmetic surgery in Brussels. I knew of a few friends who had used this hospital and had told me that they had had wonderful experiences and were very happy with the outcome and the way they were looked after both in surgery and through the aftercare.
I had my consultant appointment with Dr Oelbrandt who made me feel comfortable as soon as he started talking with me. He listed whilst I talked him through my experiences with the other hospital and the upsetting results of their poor surgery. Dr Oelbrant then looked and agreed with me that it was rather unusual to see someone who had paid to look how I now looked. I explained that i had come out a size 38bb from the second operation despite asking to remain the same size but to the have the implants changed to cure the problem of the implants being attached to the muscle.
Dr Oelbrant explained that the implants I had were too big for me and that also they had reattached to the muscle. On top of this my chest was so heavy that it was hanging down and my nipples were facing down and outwards.
After my consultation I agreed to have the operation again and to have the implants removed and the smaller size that I wanted put in and that I would also need an uplift due to the nipples being approximately 9cm too far down. I simply felt relieved that someone really believed that they could correct this problem once and for all.
Dr Oelbrand at Elyzea restored my faith in surgeons. It is now 2 months after the operation and I feel absolutely great.
The reason I have taken the time to write a review is because I really hope that other people who are thinking of having an operation know that Elyzea really are the best choice in my opinion. I know that money is a big factor in many people's decision and travelling to Brussels to have this operation saved me approximately £4,000. To have my operation in the UK would have cost me approximately £6000 - £7000 and yet it cost me under £3,000 in Brussels (2008 price).
Whilst the saving in money was definitely a great help it certainly wasn't the best advantage of surgery in Brussels with Dr Oelbrandt. After both my first and second operation I was in a tremendous amount of pain for at least 2 weeks after and felt severe discomfort for weeks after that. My scars from both operations were quite nasty and certainly the look of my breasts was less than satisfactory to say the least, and on both occasions I suffered awful problems and pain well after the operation.
After my operation under Dr Oelbrandt I was in discomfort on the evening of the operation which i cured with the pain killers supplied by the hospital and i still felt a bit uncomfortable the next day when travelling home. However, I have not had to take one single pain killer since the day after the op. I have had and am not in any pain at all. It has not been painful trying to sleep or get comfortable in bed and now, 2 months after the op, I am able to sleep on my stumach for the first time in 8 years.
My scars are practically invisible already, in fact i have been for my check up today and Dr Oelbrand had to really look for my scars as proof of the uplift and was so pleased with my results already that he took pictures of me to show prospective clients. And it is only 2 months since the operation so the scars will be totally invisible in a few more months and the shape of my breasts is now great.
I had round low profile implants and they are totally natural looking and comfortable. Having the round implants mean that they can move around unnoticably.
I had started to wish I had never started off on this long road of surgery, but now that Dr Oelbrandt has corrected all my problems I am at last so very happy with the result. I just wish I had known about Elyzea before. I had always been scared to go abroad for surgery as I thought it would be less safe, however now I have discovered for myself that not only is it safe, but I have finally had the professional caring surgery that I should have received in the first place.
I would absolutely recommend anyone thinking of surgery to travel to Brussels and have their surgery with Elyzea. The staff are very caring and helpful. My surgeon was excellent and for the first time in many years I have got my confidence back and walk with my shoulders back and my head high and i can do this in total comfort.
Thank you so much Dr Oelbrandt and Elyzea for solving my problems and taking so much care over me. I really am very thankful and just hope that other people find my experience of help to them when deciding whether they should travel abroad for their cosmetic surgery."

"When I decided to have surgery I was recommended Elyzea. I went for a consultation & met Dr Neurprez and although she wasn't helpful as I hoped I still chose to stick with this clinic. When I arrived at the surgery everything just seemed unorganised from wrong paperwork to lack of communication from staff (as I wanted to change the type of implants). In the end I didn't get the size that I wanted and the implants are to far apart, almost near my armpits. The only great thing about the place was a lovely doctor who was there to help till I was well enough to leave. Overall I should have researched and thought about it abit more.As its money down the drain..."

"I traveled to Belgium from England to have my dream of breast enlargement and liposculpture. I couldn't be happier with service, care (before and after), the cost, the staff and most important the results. I am orignally from California USA and the results were better than what I have seen on paitents who have gone to Beverly Hills clinics and a fraction of the cost. I followed all after care instructions and within a few days, I was back to feeling 90% myself and just over a year on now, I feel amazing due to the results. Dr Badalli and Dr Torekson were amazing and the staff were fantastic. I will be returning later this year for a chin lift and more liposculpture and I recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking to go abroad for cosmetic surgery. You wont regreat it."

"My expereince with Elyzea was excellent at the beginning. The clinic was first class and staff very helpful. The sugery (upper and lower eyes) was pain free and I went home the following day. I then had problems with lumps forming under my eyes and rang the surgery, I was told to email photos of myself to the consultant which I did and never got a response. I rang the surgery again and was told to email them to the clinic directly, which I did and again never received a response. The lumps did fade and I was left with an excellent result, but I do worry that if I had been unhappy would I have ever hearde from them and how would it have been rectified?. I would carefully check the after care before booking again."
