GREAT EXPERIENCE START TO FINISHDate: 02 June 2010
Pros: luxurious hospital accomodation, surgeons skills, nurses attention to your every need, affordable Cons: none!
"I returned to Wroclaw for my second procedure a breast lift on the 30th May 2010
I had my first procedure on the 28th April 2010 - this was a full tummy tuck (which may i add didn't leave me with as much as bruise)
I had a full breast lift with a reduction to one breast without implants and I am utterly astounded by the results that Doctor W has achieved - he really is a master of his craft!
The whole experiance is more positive than you could imagine - the nurses are caring and take their time to accomodate your every need to aide a speedy recovery.
Please don't be put off by the cheap price - everything about the clinic is 5 star luxury...
I am such a happy woman inside and out and can thank everyone at Euromeditravel enough!"

SURGEON IS A PERFECTIONISTDate: 16 May 2010
Pros: surgeons expertise, hospital like a 5 star hotel, extremely clean, friendly staff Cons: food sub standard
"I visited this clinic at the end on April 2010 and the whole process from initial communication has been second to none!
I was a little concerned by the possibility that i may have booked a date with some back street butcher but after contacting lots of other people who have been there and hearing their positive stories i felt a much more relaxed. My initial worries couldn't have been further from the reality - i would even say that it was superior to any private clinic in the UK.
You have no reason to feel scared to travel alone as you are met at the Airport by Agnieszka Melnyk-Poprawska (Aga) who is such a lovely lady and she takes you direct to the clinic where you're met with a warm welcome and a much needed cup of tea. you then meet the appropriate professionals and have all the pre-op checks and only after your final consulation with the surgeon Dr Wojciech Wacławowicz will he proceed. There is no pressure to proceed at any stage and if Dr Wojciech Wacławowicz feels that it's not right/ready for the proceedure you he wont operate.
They really put your health before the cost of the operation. Dr Wojciech Wacławowicz understands English but Agnieszka always translates everything ensuring that you get every question answered.
The hospital (more like a 5 star hotel) and is absolutely stunning and is the ultimate in modern design and more importantly squeaky clean! The food is mostly breads, processed meats, cheese and conserved vegetables - Aga has discussed this with the Directors and she assures me that it's improving..
I am booked to return at the end of May 2010 for a breast lift as my friends breast lift is the best i've seen! The surgeon Dr Wojciech Wacławowicz really is a perfectionist and master of his art - he will exceed your expectations...
I have no hesitation in reccommending Euromeditravel to anyone. There isn't any language barriers either...."

Pros: being so well treated Cons: food
"from the minute my mum and i were picked up at the airport we were treated extremely well. We were taken to the clinic and checked into our private room, which was immaculate, and with 3 cleaners coming in twice a day it stayed immaculate. We were then introduced to our surgeon (who didn,t speak much English, but Agna as our translator this was not a problem at all) we had a lengthy discussion about surgical procedures and what we expected. we then had many tests done to make sure we were fit and healthy for surgery. I had breast surgery the next day and i am delighted with the results! My dressings were changed daily and my wounds were thoroughly checked. The staff from top to bottom at this clinic were superb, we could not have been treated any better. Our apartment was in the middle of the city at a fantastic location, it was clean and very acceptable. Agna was first class, from translation, to answering questions to chauffeuring us around everywhere. My trip to Euromeditravel clinic in Wroclaw is highly recommendable. I am a very happy lady :-) The only single downside would be the hospital food, i personally was not keen on polish cuisine and if your not partial to try something new then my only suggestion would be to take in some snacks"
"I have just returned after having ear correction surgery. Aga met my husband & I at the airport as promised & was really friendly & helpful. She took us to the apartment which had everything you could have wished for ie:washer, iron etc. The next day she took us to the hospital which was spotless. I met the surgeon who was really nice but didnt speak much English so most communication was done through Aga. My operation was then preformed which didnt take very long but the surgeon spoke to me all the way through it to make sure I was alright. Afterwards I was taken back to the apartement & was given a polish mobile phone so I could get in touch with Aga if I needed anything. Everyday I was taken back to the hospital to make sure everything was alright. I was unable to stay the full 10 days so I have returned with my stitches in which I will have removed at home but before I returned home I was taken to the hospital to check all was well & how to look after my ears at home. Then Aga took us to the airport. I would highly recommend euromeditravel to anyone."
Pros: great experienced surgeon, aftercare and transportation to and from hospital/ Cons: misunderstandings via the language barriers, the food
"I went with this company as I couldnt find any 'bad' reviews about them online, and I liked the fact that they wanted you to stay so they could check you daily and remove your stitches before you went home - unlike many other companies! Aga was very helpful and provided good communication and support to us before we went there. We were met at the airport as promised and taken to the hospital, however the hospitral werent expecting us and we were left hanging around for hours before being told to go into town to do some shopping and to return later for our tests and to meet with the surgeon. After meeting with the surgeon we were put at ease, but I was disappointed to learn that my operation that had been booked for months was not being done the following day as arranged but the day after that instead. When I did have my operation, they moved my friend who had a facelift out of the hospital and didnt tell me - she and I were both distressed by this and didnt see each other for a further 36 hours and were both worrying about the other. When we finally did meet up again and I got discharged we went to the apartment. Although described as luxury, you have to rememberthat their idea of luxury and ours is very different - my friend was left in a small apartment for 5 hours while they cleaned ours, when she got into our there didnt appear to have been much cleaning done and the previous occupants didrt laundry was rolled up at the door. Apart form that it was perfectly fine and extremely central in this beautiful city. Eating out is unbelieveably cheap and the shopping is very good - even getting about with a tummy tuck was suprisingly easy! :D We both went back in a week after our first operations for our next ops and once there my friend did have to argue a bit in order to get the discount that we had previously been promised - but to be honest I think this was just a mix-up in communication. We were both happy with the second procedures as neither of us had to have another general anaesthetic (which obviously does wipe you out for a couple of days!) and we felt a lot more alert and happy and in control. We were taken back every day to have our wounds checked and our dressings channged, however sometimes this did mean a fair bit of hanging around waiting to be collected and seen, but this is obvioulsy as they are so busy. I would recommend this company - I have the utmost faith in the surgeon, who is not out to rip you off and will not perform a procedure which he feels is unnecessary. He is a warm and witty man, who puts you at great ease. He does speak a little English, and is trying to learn more, but the majority of communication is done via an interpreter (Aga). The main problem here was communication - or 'lack of it' You believe that one thing will happen and then find out that actually that may not be the case, so although I will highly recommend the company, I would say to go in with an open mind, be aware that changes may happen, and make sure that you get all your wishes and requirements clearly across to the company in order that you all know what is desired. An extra bonus is that you have a direct landline phone in your bedroom and you are allowed your mobiles too - so communication home is easy and very welcome particularly when you are feeling vulnerable. Its true about the hospital food - its not particularly good, but then again it is a different culture - so take some snacks in with you."

Pros: in comparison with british prices this was excelle, easy to get to short flight Cons: not keen on the hospital food., with summer visit secure an apartmt with aircon
"Well looked after from the minute we landed, transported to and from hospital for after care, and even to supermarket for essentials. Someone on hand, at all times that spoke the language. Hospital, excellent. Very friendly and approachably, nothing to much trouble. Clean safe area to stay in. Would recommend to anyone. Will be returning for more treatment in the future. Going to a strange country, for this kind, or any kind of surgery,is a very frightening thing to do, after my experience in Wroclaw, I would feel happy and confident to return to wroclaw. I would also like to add that the town square was in walking distance, even after a tummy tuck, and there are many shops and restaurants to visit there to make your stay even more pleasurable."
