Travel abroad with mills and mills!!!Date: 31 December 2008
"Upon my arrival at mills and mills in Puerto banus, I was welcomed in a relaxed, calm and beautiful setting. Also known as Marbella high care International hospital.
While I sat nervously in the Spanish heat, I noticed the outdoor pool, and several individual wicker seating areas surrounding it! Time to explore before all the formalities.
As I walked down toward the pool, I noticed another building with huge glass windows. A GYM?! Oh yes!! Not that Id get a chance to use it as my surgery was quite major, what a bonus that would be to other patients or the guests of patients.
I took my mum with me for support as I was definitely going to need a helping hand. If only she had of packed a gym bag and not all that summer wear!
Surrounded By beauty, my worries of mrsa or infection were non existent! Which I would have been worried about had I have had surgery back in England.
After seeing to the relevant paperwork, I was escorted to my room.
And what a room it was. Spotless red carpet, clear glass sinks, flat screened telly, I felt like royalty!
It was then that I really felt at ease.
Soon the surgery became exciting instead of scary.
Leaving 2 children behind at home had worried me sick weeks prior to surgery, however I new I was in good hands. But why travel abroad to have this surgery when I could be at home close to my family you may ask.
Well, What a way to recuperate. Waking up to that gorgeous sunshine every morning! Beautiful views. I suppose you could call it a relaxing holiday at the same time! My recovery was much easier as I was completely relaxed, in a clean, comfortable and friendly environment. If I needed immediate help I pressed a button and within 1 second my buzzer was answered, shortly followed by a nurse in my room.
Mills and mills have totally changed my life, I say Mills and mills, this includes the surgeon who has worked miracles on my body, Dr Marco Vrichella.
He has completely transformed me and thanks to the physical changes, I have been able to make mental changes too.
I feel younger, happier and now enjoy exercise which was a distant dream before.
I had lost allot of weight from 2 pregnancies and used to describe my stomach as a kangaroos pouch. Now there’s nothing there!!! The incision mark looks like it has been stuck back together. Dr Vrichella’s work truly is an art form. No stitch marks or dots. Just an even and extremely thin line. I had been to 2 other consultations and none compared to mills and mills.
After my consultation with mills and mills, I knew they were the ones for me. And I could never have dreamed of a better result. I’m ecstatic! Even my doctors are stunned by the work of Dr Vrichella.
I couldn’t fault the care of the staff at mills and mills and I Would definitely recommend them to anyone having surgery, reconstructive or other"
My Tummy Tuck at Mills& MillsDate: 29 December 2008
"I was nervous having the Tummy Tuck, but it was something I was thinking about for many years. I was tipped over the edge after having a cesarian 2 years ago.
After looking on the internet, and finding out about Mills & Mills, I decided to go for it.
My stomach was a hanging mound of flesh, that rested on my thighs when I sat down in underware or a swim suit. I found it hard to wear jeans or a straight skirt, often wearing baggy clothes to hide the tum, making me look even larger than I was. I had a "Pregnant" look to me, and I was getting fed up of peole asking me when I was due!
I was nervous to actually go for the procedure, but I have to say, the staff at Mills and Mills made me feel relaxed, and when I had a chat with Dr Vricella about my new tummy, I felt confident that this man knew what he was doing.
When I woke up, it was so nice to be visited by various members of the Mills & Mills team.
I want to say how pleased I was with the after care. After 2 nights, I was driven back to the apartment with Dr. Vricella's number and a bag of medication. Peter the cliical nurse, visited me every other day to see how I was getting on, and this was so reasuring.
Sian was fantastic going the extra mile to help pick up my Mum and Daughter for their visits, we really appreciated that. It was nice to be visited by Debbie and couple of times.
I am now home, without the horrible flesh that used to be my Tummy. I look better now being swollen, than I did before not swollen!! And, I dont look "Pregnant" any more. I cant wait to see how it will look when the swelling goes in a few weeks.
Dr. Vricella is fantastic, as I have a lovely thin scar line, and I still can't see how he got my tummy to look so neat, but he did. My lipo on my hips is very smooth, and already the bruising is going down.
I would tell anyone thinking of having surgery to go to your clinic. Also, you may give my mobile number to anyone thinking of having a tummy tuck.
I will send you some before and after pictures, but I will wait a couple of weeks to get the "Afters".
So Thank you to every one, especially Peter, who was so nice and reasuring through out the after care. He made me feel so "Normal" as I was plodding along in my corset body suit!..and his manner is so friendly he made me feel at ease, and not forgetting the Surgeon Dr. Vricella. What a fabulous surgeon. Grazie Dr. Vricella....I will never forget you.

"i recently went to marbella to mills and mills for a tummy tuck and the results are amazing its like a dream come true, i was thrilled with the high level of patient care i recieved before, during and after the procedure. all the staff are lovely and make you feel like you are in safe hands and are very highly qualified. i would reccommend anyone to go for this procedure or any other with mills and mills they are fantastic and the bonus of a holiday at the same time in a beautiful place"

All staff were friendly and welcoming from the minute I was picked up at the airport.
Treatment and aftercare is excellent, I'm so very pleased with the restults of my tummy tuck, breast augmentation and lift and my subsequent, eye/neck/face lift with lipo on my thighs.

"I had 'Rhinoplasty' procedure on 11th April 2008. I can surely say that the hospital was amazing, beautiful rooms, staff there for you at the push of a button, a generally 'top notch' hospital, aftercare was brilliant and i was talked through what to do after the procedure and such.. everybody was just so helpful. "My face lift & eye lid lift took place in March 2008. I had looked tired & not good for my age, although my figure is quite good for my 49 years. I had looked at several cosmetic sugery clinics in Spain, where I live, & had not felt that my well being was the most important factor. From my consultation to post operative follow up I have been constantly cared for by the Mills & Mills staff, professionally & with such good humour! Now I look fresh & very good for my age, without looking at all false. I am delighted, & the response from friends has been very positive, which has made it even more worthwhile! Would I do it again if the clock was turned back to March? TOO RIGHT I WOULD......I had a great time! My only critism, is that some of the patient co-ordinators, in their eagerness to look after their patients allude to more medical knowlegde than they actually possess. However, expert attention is there at all times...ask to see or speak to the right person...they are there for you 24/7 & they are more than delighted to sort out any problem or query....big or small."

"Mills and Mills are a very professional cosmetic company with great value for money on procedures. I went with Mills and Mills to undergo rhinoplasty treatment as i had been un-happy with the way my nose looked for years, i searched the internet and looked into many cosmetic surgery clinics, none were as professional and detailed as Mills and Mills. From the word go they explained everything to me from the cost, the procedure, before and after care, what was included in the price etc. They answered any questions i had on the surgery and gave me my surgeons (Dr.Aslani)direct email address incase i went away from the consultation with anymore questions. I booked after a week of my consultation and after i had looked into the company with great research and decided this was the company i wanted to go with. When i got to Marbella everything was arranged for me my accommodation (which was 5* apartment, absolutly spotless), my travel arrangements, hospital appointments etc. After we were shown where we would be staying and had a chance to settle in Amanda, my patient liason officer came and introduced herself to me and explained everything for the following day, Amanda couldnt do enough for me she is a complete credit to Mills and Mills. The morning of my operation i was picked up by Chris the chauffer from Mills and Mills and was taken to the hospital i spoke to my surgeon one last time and met the anesatist. The Hospital was very clean, i had my own private suite and all the nurses were very accommodating. Throughout my stay i had check ups and was given all my medication before i was discharged. Everyone from the company was welcoming and didnt judge me atall, i would definatly recommend Mills and Mills to anyone having any kind of cosmetic surgery."

"A caring and supportive group of professional people, who make you feel confident and cared for. All prices include taking a friend or husband. I would suggest you do take somebody with you, a friend is better, as husbands seem to get bored and anxious. I took a girl friend and although this trip was primarily for sugery, we had a really great time and it became a holiday as well."
