"Whole experience was brilliant.
Spoke with Dr Olbrandt before travelling and he answered all my queries and emails very timely and phoned me to discuss in person.
The clinic was extremely modern and clean and I choose to have my treatment there (Dr O, did give me the option to have it at local hospital if I preferred).
The operation has been a complete success - and healed within 2 weeks. My local doctor in UK said he had done an excellent job.
I choose to return home on the same day as my treatment. As Dr O recommended, it is definately advisable that you travel with a partner as your vision is very blured straight after op and a bit uncomfortable during return to UK .
I was anxious about having treatment abroad, but Dr Olbrandt has full insurance and regularly visits the UK for follow up appointments if necessary. My experience with UK clinics is that you don't have the same personalised service with the surgeon (all consultations and followups are done with a nurse).
I thorough recommend Singelberg Clinic."

"I have just had my breast implant everything was well explained from how to get to Belgium then travel to the clinic plus my hotel reservation was well organised by my Surgeon. My Surgeon is very efficient and easy to contact by email. Upon my arrival all the staff members are very friendly and made me so relaxed I hardly noticed anyhting until the operation was over. After the operation my Surgeon is still on constant contact with me even after I have left Belgium to see how I am feeling. The hotel staff too were fantastic and very helpful. I will recomend this clinic to a friend"

"I had breast implants and an uplift on 1 breast to correct light asymetry on 12th February 2010. I can honestly say from my first meeting of Dr Oelbrandt in London i trusted his honest opinion, advice and appreciated the time he took with me and help he provided.
The journey to Belgium was fine, hotel basic but warm and clean. The staff in the clinic were fantastic, i was treated very well & am so pleased with my results & the aftercare i received.
I would highly recommend Dr Oelbrandt & the Singleburg clinic to everyone & will be returning for any further ops!!"

"After thinking about a breast reduction for over 10 years, finally decided to 'go for it' in January 2010 at the grand old age of 51 yrs. However, once booked I discovered lumps in both breasts. After numerous emails back and forth between myself and Dr Oelbrandt, still decided that he would be the person to remove the lumps rather than go through our own NHS system that was taking too long. Dr Oelbrandt removed lumps, carried out the biopsy on them and then reconstructed the breasts by giving me the reduction. SOOOO pleased with the results. They are a lovely size and shape - wish I'd had this done 10 years ago. Have gone from 36GG to a very nice and pert 36D. Can't say I have ever loved them as much as I do now!! Between booking the reduction back in November to after the operation in January, have had approx 30 emails from Dr. O. He generally answers emails and texts within 24 hrs or less, and has been truly professional, caring and extremely supportive. Would NEVER have got that on the NHS or probably even private here in the UK. We travelled to Bornem by Car - approx 2 hrs from Calais and had the op in St Joseph's Hospital in Bornem - very clean and staff very helpful. Decided to pay extra to stay one night in hospital before returning to stay at T'Land van Bornem Hotel, which is less than 5 mins walk away from the hospital and again very comfortable and staff very helpful. Have always felt comfortable asking questions and never felt I was a nuisance. Would HIGHLY recommend Dr O who charged about half of what I would have paid in the UK just for the reduction - let alone all the other work involved. Thanks Dr O - you are amazing."

"Travelled to Belgium in Oct 09 for a TT. Was terrified. It wasnt as bad as I thought it was. My C-Section hurt more. Couldnt believe how easy it was to find the hospital and how quick we got there. The staff at the hospital are out of this world. Was also very clean. Dr.Oelbrandt is a fantastic surgeon. He tells you how it is. He has stayed in touch regular pre and post op to see how things are. I am defo going back to have more treatment next year. I also have friends who are interested. "After years of "thinking about it" I decided to have my breasts sorted out. I was advised to have correction of severe asymmetry, uplift and implants. The results are even better than I could have wished for. Dr Oelbrandt is extremely professional, straight talking and very caring. His clinic is spotless and the the care is very good. After surgery the nurses and Dr O came to check on me numerous times and I never felt under pressure to leave. Consultation and check ups takes place in London. Before going to Belgium I received very informative emails from him with links to Belgium rail network and hotels so travelling was easy. The clinic, hotel, train station, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. If you email him with a query, he replies within hours and also gives you his mobile number. Since my return Dr O has emailed to check up on my recovery. I too can't recommend him enough."

"After consultations with clinics in London I decided to have surgery to remove the bulges and dark circles under my eyes (a Lower Blephoraplasty) at the Singelberg Clinic instead, mainly as the price was astronomically lower than what I would have paid in London for the exact same procedure.
Now five weeks after the surgery my eyes are completely healed, and I look at least 10 years younger. I was very pleased with the professionalism and care at the Singelberg Clinic. You do have to be prepared to travel there (by train or plane) and stay over in a hotel for at least one night. However, with the help of the national website for Belgian trains I had no problems taking Eurostar to Brussels, and then local service to Beveren (just be mindful that Beveren is a small town, and I almost didn't realise the train had stopped there - there were just a couple of signs on the platform so they're easy to miss), and the whole trip took just about 3-1/2 or 4 hours from St. Pancras.
You will also be travelling home the same distance after the surgery, so be aware that there may be some discomfort, or in cases like mine very noticeable bruising and swelling on your face that is difficult to hide, unless you're prepared to wear dark glasses.
All-in-all I'm extremely satisfied and happy with the outcome of the procedure, and after living with those dark circles for 25 years I know now how easily I could have dealt with them years ago."

"I had a consultation with Dr Oelbrandt in June 2009. My operation for a full tummy tuck was booked for mid August. I travelled to Belgium via Eurostar and attended Sint Jozef Hospital in Bornem, my operation took place within a couple of hours of arriving there. My hospital room was spotless, with just one other patient. The care and attention I received before and after the operation was first class. The nurses were excellent and took great care of me, they all spoke perfect English. I stayed for 2 nights, returning to my hotel for a further night. The whole process was so much easier than I ever imagined - even the pain wasn’t too bad. It’s now 5 weeks since my operation, and I am healing nicely. Having dark skin, I was really worried about my scars, but I am absolutely delighted with the outcome. Since my operation Dr Oelbrandt has been available by phone or email if I have any questions. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering having plastic surgery abroad. The service he offers is absolutely excellent."

"I travelled over to Brussels to have liposuction in March12th 2009 after travelling with my friend last year for her to have breast enlargement with Dr Oelbrandt. I had total confidence in Dr Oelbrandt as i had seen the results he had did with my frineds breasts so i was very confident with the surgery. i arrived in the morning and had a final examination and was taken in shortly after that to have 6 areas worked on. (inside and outside leg, above the knee, hips, waistline, buttocks) i was a size 12 before the operation and was really hoping to trim up my figure. 3 months on and i am a small size 8 and total i have lost 2 stone. I followed Dr Oelbrandt after care and exercised and changed my way of eating and i am extremley happy with my outcome, after 6 weeks i was more than happy and my shape just kept getting smaller. I would recommend anyone who is considering lipo to do it as it has changed my life i am wearing a new style of clothes and feeling alot more confident when i am out socialising. ""I had a breast reduction operation carried out in Belgium with Dr Oelbrandt in April 2009. After years of back/neck ache and being unable to wear anything other than frumpy, unglamorous clothes, at the age of 26 I finally decided to take the plunge and booked Dr Oelbrandt for the procedure that has quite literally changed my life. 6 weeks post-op and I am AMAZED at my results. I now have the 'small' breasts I have always wanted (I have gone from a 36GG to a 36C/D), the pain really wasn't 1/2 as bad as I had expected (and this is coming from an absolute wuss- with no real pain thresh-hold what so ever!) the scars which at the moment are slightly red have healed remarkably well and are pretty minimal (I had the classic T shape incision) and I have a new found confidence in my appearance/self. My biggest fears were totally unfounded - I have sensation in both nipples and my breasts aren't wonky or uneven at all :-)
I would thoroughly recommend going to Belgium for surgery - the staff in the hospital (Sint-Jozef, Bornem) were extremely friendly, caring, professional and all spoke brilliant English. My surgery (even with Eurostar costs and hotel accommodation) were 1/2 of the quoted UK costs. Dr Oelbrandt was fantastic (although somewhat blunt and to the point at times) and the results of his work are brilliant. An amazing surgeon and I would totally recommend him to anyone considering surgery.""

"I recently went to Dr Oelbrandt to have a breast uplift, rhinoplasty, chin implant and mini tummy tuck. From the initial contact to the post operative check up he was extremely professional and always willing to answer my many questions either in person, via email or telephone. I am extremely happy with the results of the operation and cannot recommend him highly enough especially after the many horror stories I have heard from friends who have gone to the likes of Transform! His private clinic is state of the art and Sint-Jozeph hospital where I had my surgery was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and spoke fluent English, also in terms of cleanliness it put many UK hospitals to shame. I am now considering having breast implants and the only person who I would feel comfortable to do this surgery is Dr Oelbrandt."
