"I am a skier with bad knees, so bad I thought I would have to give up my favourite sport. I went to Dr Alf Neuhaus and he told me he could fix it, and he did. I had surgery on both knees (ACL) and I couldn't be happier with the outcome, I now ski like I used to but painfree. I also have a lack of cartilage and he fixes that with a couple of injections and I am good as new.
I am sure there are plenty of very skilled surgeons out there but Dr Neuhaus is just different. I felt 100% sure of the procedure he was going to do, I felt 100% safe and I felt that at all times I could ask more questions if I had to. Dr Neuhaus cares about his patients and he gives them the best available care there is and at all times keeping them informed of what is happening. I have sent my father to him, more faith than that in a person is difficult to find."

"I had extemely painful bunions, but had put off treatment because eveyone told me that it was a very painful operation. I did a lot of research and found Clinica Sandalf. I was most impressed with the very professional, but friendly first appointment and decided to go ahead with the operation which was for bunion & claw toe. I was amazed, I had no pain at all and did not even need to take an aspirin and so the following year I had the other foot done, again no pain and no need for painkillers. My doctor at home could not believe the quality of the op. and that I had had no trouble at all. One of his patients went to our local hospital and ended up in a lot of pain and having to have the whole thing re - done. I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment and the excellent result that I had from Clinica Sandalf and I have 2 lovely trouble free feet!!"

"After 2+ years of pain in my right hip, I consulted Dr Alf Neuhaus who identified the need to replace it, taking X-rays himself, and arranged a date for surgery to suit my personal arrangements. He was at all times friendly, re-assuring and courteous and visited me in hospital every day following the operation. His physiotherapist partner, Sandra, was equally helpful and had me walking in 24 hours. I was able to leave hospital earlier than expected and, as a result, costs were lower than he quoted. Follow-up has been thorough and I would not hesitate to recommend the Sandalf team"

"The diagnosis of my condition took just a few minutes and then, after a procedure to confirm the condition (hip worn out!) I was offered treatment immediately. The quotation, although higher than I expected, proved to be spot on, and included everything; hospital stay, prosthetic material, operation and anaesthetist costs. The only additional cost was for physiotherapy treatment post op. All the staff at the clinic were very helpful and friendly and I felt confident from the start. The hospital (St. Elena) was excellent - I have never seen so many nurses per day! Four months on I am still recovering but the aftercare is still in place and I return in July for another check-up. The overall outcome is that am I now virtually pain free and certainly much better than before the operation. I would have no hesitation in recommending this organisation to others."

"I had hip replacement & was given pre & post operative information. The hospital was clean & nursing staff spoke English. The care provided by Mr Alf Neu haus & Mr Palmer the anaethesetist were second to none. The surgeon visited daily to review my care & change my dressing.The physiotherapist Ms Sandra Vincenti had me up & walking next day. A course of exercises & hydrotherapy soon had me back to normal.My follow up lasted for one year I consider it money well spent I had previously been seen by another private hospital in Spain who kept me running back 6 forwards changing meds 6 prescribing injections I could barely hobble I was in so much pain When I had the good luck to see the ad for Clinica Sandalf I thought it worth a try for second opinion. Mr. Neuhaus made me feel confident immediately He took xrays & they showed there was no ball on my hip. He arranged to operate the following week. I would certainly recommend this clinic."
