Pros: top quality treatment at bargain rates
"We contacted H-Dent because my wife needed heavy duty dental treatment. She had previously had dentures that were not vrey satisfactory and she needed other treatment as well. While enquiring for her I also asked about my teeth and we finished up both having a complete make-over of our teeth.
We were very apprehensive about venturing abroadfor dentistry because of the possibilities should anything go wrong. We need not have worried.
The service began with detailed consultancy by e-mail based on digital x-rays we obtained at home. From this we were given a very competitive quote.
We were also given advice on flights, etc. We were met at the airport and taken to the apartment, which is owned by the practice. It was basic but clean and comfortable. My wife has special health needs and allowance was made for this in all the arrangements for transport and accommodation. While in Rovinj we were ferried by car from apartment to surgery and back, and more. Ivan even provided a local mobile phone so that we could keep in touch when not receiving treatment. He would call when he came to collect us and keep us updated on likely times for treatment , for example if there was a hold up at the lab. And of courese, we could keep in touch with him.
We were also given good advice on local facilities; restaurants, shopping, taxis and car hire, all English speaking. Ivan, the younger member of the partnership, is very fluent in English; have no fears on that score.
As for the treatment; The practice is a father and son, who combine excellent practical experience and a very high standard of qualifications. The clinic has two treatment rooms equiped to the highest standard with the very latest equipment.
Our treatment was complex, involving more than one visit to Croatia. Every effort was made to make the best possible use of the time we were there. Everything was planned and executed to achieve the best results in the minimum time, No dentistry is ever going to be completely painless but the skill displayed in carrying out our treatment kept the discomfort to a minimum.
The results are excellent. In the end I had all of my teeth crowned with bridges for missing teeth. The results are not only comfortable, but aesthetically pleasing.
I cannot speak too highly of the quality of service we received. We chose this practice partly because they were one of the cheapest, but there is no suggestion we could have received better treatment no matter how much we paid. And the cost included any necessary x-rays, extractions and other ancilliary procedures. We aid only the agreed price for the crowns, bridges and implants we needed. There were periods when we had to wait for e.g. crowns and plates to be made and during that time we were provided with very acceptable temporary crowns so were never embarrassed by our appearance.
And the other real bonus is that both father and son are just such very nice people. They made us feel welcome, advised us on places to visit and generally made the whole experience as pleasant as dentistry can be."

"I have to say that this was a beautiful experience. Our whole trip was a great idea and we can't stop telling our friends and family about it. Doctors from H-dent not only took care of our teeth problems but they organized the rest of our time there. They also spent a great deal of time talking to us and explaining everything we wanted to know. I had a 12 unit porcelain bridge done in my bottom jaw and I will soon go back to take care of my upper part. My husband had 2 implants and a bridge on these implants done. Everything was as they promised before we started a treatment.

Pros: everything was on time and price as agreed
"I recommend H-Dent unequivocally. I had a 2-bridge crown done as well as replacing an old crown, and they replaced an old filling. There were no add ons; their price was as published; they were always on time and great to work with. I had x-rays on a Wednesday, preliminary work and impressions on Thursday, and the crowns were put in on Monday. They will be moving into their new office this weekend -- Ivan took us on a tour and it is all first-rate and high tech. We stayed in the apartment that is offered to their clients for 6 days and enjoyed it tremendously. We found no discrepancies from what they say on their website to what is reality. And Rovinj is a wonderful place to visit! If we find either of us needs major dental work in the future, we plan to return to H-Dent. Jim in Tampa, Florida"
