My partner and I went to Indexmedica in Krakow for a clean and scale along with the beyond tooth whitening procedure. Overall the clinic
is very clean, not far from the city centre. The staff are friendly. The dentist was very throughout in his initial examination to
identify whether we were good candidates for the treatment and spoke both English with me and German with my patner which was great. The
dental hygenist was very throughout in the cleaning and whitening procedure, and checked on my wellbeing throughout. I am very happy
with the outcome. Further details about aftercare would have been helpful. My partner suffered with quite alot of pain after the
treatment, and after doing a google search we found this can be a side effect of whitening treatment in some with tooth sensitivity for
24 to 48 hours post treatment. It would have been good if they had highlighted these potential issues either before treatment and
advised on best steps to take should that happpen. Which accordiing to research was to simply take pain relief. I would absolutely
recommend the clinic for treatment. I am extremely happy with the outcome. My only word of warning is to make sure you pay in euros and
in cash. i noticed that the debit card receipt had had the total amount ripped off, I discovered why when I returned home and checked my
bank statements. i had been charged 35 euros more than the invoice said I would be charged (excluding additional bank fees). When
paying, the receptionist informed me that 'it would be better for me' if I was charged on local currency but the exchange rate the
clinic uses (which is on the invoice) is much higher than the bank rate. This seems to be an additional side business for them as I
heard her saying this to other paitients. So by all means go and have treatment there but pay the invoice in cash so they dont have a
chance to pull a fast one on you.
