I have just recently had rinoplasthy with Dr. Athanasios Athanasiou in Athens of Beverly Hill hospital Group in Glyfada
(Athens).
I really would like to share my very positive experience with you. I had a deviated septum, and a Greek/Roman nose look
like (small bump on the nose bridge).
I decided to have the operation in Glyfada, Athens because I thought I would have been able to
have a little holidays as well while recovering, rather than staying in London stuck in my bedroom for 1 week!
Glyfada is a really
nice, relaxing place to stay, located next to the sea, full of restaurants/ shops and bars. I stayed in a hotel nearby the Glyfada
centre (this is the richest part of Athens named also 'Athens of Beverly Hills).
The clinic was just 5 mins away by taxi, so very
handy to reach for all the follow up appointments.
The hospital's staff were very friendly and all English speaker - I stayed in a
boutique hospital for one night before being discharged the day after. The operation went really well, it was painless...and recovery in
Athens was brilliant, I could go out for long walk in pleasant weather, doing some shopping and having a relaxing time.
Dr.
Athanasios's PA, Michelle also assisted me the day of the operation and was there with me when I came out the operating theatre to keep
me company. As well she spent some days with me wondering round in Glyfada and going for lovely meals! I literally felt in love with
Greek food : )
Dr.Athanasiou did an amazing job, I now have a natural nose with with a straight septum - I can breath properly and I
love my new look!
I am still recovering, the operation was only less than 3 weeks ago, but I cannot recommend the Athens of Beverly
Hills clinic and Dr. Athanasiou highly enough!! :)
All the follow up appointments will be in London as the surgeon comes several
times a month to see patients and to do consultations.
