I was happy with the implants for four years until one of them broke and I was unable to get another dentist to fix it because they
needed Brazilian tools that are not generally available. I returned to Slovakia to have the work done, and I was still under their
5-year guarantee. The implant was apparently fixed, and I specifically asked the dentist if I could chew normally and he confirmed. The
day after I returned to the UK from Slovakia, the implant broke again, worse than it had been before.
Because no dentist in the UK
would fix the problem, I would have to return to Slovakia for them to fix it. From then on I was caught in a nightmare of failed
communication. Dental Holiday told me that I needed three clear days to fix the problem and told me some dates to avoid because of
public holidays. Under their system patients are required to book flight tickets before the appointments are made. I bought a ticket
that included plenty of time for the work to be done. Then they told me that their lab was closed for the days I had selected (they had
not told me about that), and they gave me one appointment on the last day that I would be in Slovakia. Therefore I would have to return
to Slovakia another time to complete the work. All my attempts to contact them after this were blocked; they did not answer the phone,
took days to respond to emails and sent me responses that did not address the questions I asked. They created confusion to the point
that I lost faith that they intended to deal with the problem, and I had to cancel the flight and appointment altogether. There was an
english speaker at the office but he refused to answer my emails and let the receptionist deal with it when her english was not adequate
(also providing a ready excuse for the mess).
I was happy with the service up to this point and am very disappointed in how they
treated me once something went wrong.
