We are very pleased with the service we received at Clinic Fertimed in Olomouc. We had two attempts there, the first one did not
succeed, the second one was successful - resulting in a lovely baby boy. We can only say good things about the clinic. The service
was excellent all the way through, and although there is a slight language barrier the staff went to great lengths to make sure
everything was well explained and understood. They also took all our questions and concerns seriously, and took the time to answer them
in a thorough manner. The location of the clinic is good, close to the city centre of Olomouc, and the possibility to stay in an
apartment just across the street from the clinic made the stay very easy. The clinic even arranged a private driver that took us back to
the airport in Prague after the egg was inserted. We also feel like the clinic is on a very high level medically, and they could
offer services that were beyond what we have seen at other clinics we have worked with in Denmark and Norway.

We were recommended this clinic by a friend of a friend and after research and discussions with the clinic, we travelled to Olomouc for
our consultation. The clinic is small but the staff are very professional and we were given a main point of contact who spoke English
and helped us with the processes and formalities whilst there and when we were back in the UK. This was invaluable to us as the contact
went out of their way to make the experience as easy as possible and offered many a personal touch to ease the process as it can be very
daunting to arrive in another country and put your hope in to their hands. Excellent accommodation is offered within the same building
or across the road from the clinic and there is also choices within Olomouc which is a beautiful place to visit, aside from the main
reason of the stay. We were unsuccessful on the first attempt but then tried again and had a beautiful boy in 2010 and went back in
2012 and were successful on the first attempt and now have a beautiful girl. In summary we have absolutely nothing negative that we
could report of our visits with Fertimed and fully recommend them , the whole process exceeding our experiences in NHS/private clinics
in the UK.

The staff told me that the donor was shared between 2 women but they actually had 4 recipients, how 4 women all had the same donor
requirements I don't know? The donor was over stimulated and produced over 30 eggs which is a huge number, I would imagine she had PCO
or OHSS and this impacted on egg quality. I did not get pregnant, the nurse told me that another recipient was pregnant with twins, she
had no way of knowing this as it was in the 4 th week of pregnancy and far to early for an ultrasound to show a pregnancy but tried to
mislead me. I wish I had paid a few more euros and gone to a reputable clinic that did not share donors with a ridiculous amount of
women

We are very sorry that the patient did not get pregnant. We understand, that during the process of oocyte donation patients can come under high pressure and we try to minimize this fact by building a friendly relation with our patients. We can not comment on the number of oocytes collected nor on the number of recipients, their number of eggs or pregnancies, because we have to respect the privacy of our patients and donors. We used a proved donor, with a 80 % success rate in previous donation and 100 % fertilization rate in this donation cycle. The complaints about the high number of eggs collected or about the number of recipients are purely speculative, since those are not the kind of information that are available to our patients. Moreover, they are wrong. We are very sorry to hear about the unsucessful attempt of our patient. We are trying to keep the level of treatment as high as possible but we cannot guarantee the success in all patients. It is sad, that some patients write a positive review. The experience we had with the clinic was really excellent, because of their proffesionality buy also with their involvement and
personal care they had with us. We have had before some other experiencies in other clinics, but with fertimed was really fantastic the
medical support we received and at the end we got our princess. We really recommend this clinic

the intervention consisted in implantation of embrioes that were the result of both egg and sperm donations.The procedure took about 5
minutes and the recovery , post intervention, took about 4 to 5 hours. The accomodation conditions were excellent, just across the
street from the clinic facility. the medical services were of a high quality and the staff was kind and carefull with the needs of the
patient.

With the clinic we were very satisfied. It is a small clinic, the staff is very expert on their field. Because of my age we need egg
donation. We chose this clinic, because of there shared oocytes program. The first time in Septemer 2013 was unfortunately
unsuccessful, but we are going to try again on begining of the next yeare.
