Dr Mark Diacono is an excellent dental surgeon who put me at ease and designed my beautiful new dentures. I had all my own teeth
extracted when i was 26 so have worn dentures for many years. Unfortunately my jaw bone is almost gone, so Mark suggested i needed a
bone graft or just 2 implants placed at the front, which is what i had done, he built up the gum part of the denture so now i show my
bottom teeth a little, and my upper denture looks amazing and so natural. Thanks Mark and the team for returning my smile and
confidence, i am more than happy and would say dont wait any longer- just go for it!

First of all amazing staff. The receptionist at the dental unit has a wonderful smile that makes your day. :-) I had a dental
treatment with Dr. Susanne Diacono. The entire experience was very positive. A very experienced dentist who does her job with passion.
I liked Dr Susanne's ability to answer all my concerns and questions. The end result of the treatment was fantastic. :-) The
nurses were very nice and everyone just make you feel at ease and comfy... Also the premises look very clean and fresh. I highly
recommend this clinic and Dr. Susanne in particular.

I went to the Unit upon the recommendation of friends. What was to have been a routine check-up identified a bone infection and a
rotten tooth and so I embarked upon the implant route - unknown territory for me. I could not have been more satisfied by the
treatment - the care, attention and follow-up were phenomenal - I even got calls after the initial surgery to make sure how I was doing.
WHERE does that happen? Dr. Diacono and his whole team were all fantastic and I would highly recommend anyone needing dental
treatment to go there. I would add that I have had dental work done in both the US and Switzerland and this has been by far the best
experience. I particularly appreciated the explanations about the treatment and the Doctor's willingness to listen to and address all
my concerns. I now have fantastic new teeth.

My dentist referred me to the dental and implantology unit at St. James for an implant following positive reviews from his other
patients. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout all my appointments. The initial consultation was very thorough and
everything was explained by Mr. Diacono. The surgery and implant were both successful and I am very satisfied with the service. Very
good value for money.

Dr Mark Diacono performed an excellent job on what was classified as a difficult case - the surgery was a success. Dr Diacono and
his staff were both caring and informative. Dr Nikolai Attard completed the implant with the same level of dedication and attention
to detail.

When I first visited Dr Mark Diacono, he told me he wanted to give me back my full smile, and he succeeded. I enjoy smiling and showing
off my teeth. They are so exactly like my own remaining teeth that I myself cannot tell which ones are the implants and which ones are
mine. I had full confidence in the staff at the clinic that there was not one single moment that I was afraid or panicky. They are all
a wonderful team.

Having dental treatment abroad was a scary option but as I was working & living in Malta, I researched the options available. I was
also recommended the Dental Unit at St James Hospital by several people. When I visited to find out more I was very impressed in the
time I was given by Dr Mark Diacono who explained simply what was needed to deal with my dental problems, how it would be done, the
timescales and I received a very comprehensive quote. The Unit itself is pleasing to the eye, has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere,
spotlessly clean with the most up-to-date equipment. My Dental Consultant in the UK is a Consultant/Honorary Senior Lecturer in
Restorative Dentistry (Periodontology) and he liased with Mark Diacono from the Dental Unit in Malta about my condition, sending over my
old X Rays etc. I felt in safe hands knowing that the two of them had the same idea of treatment! The treatment was long and it was
tough going at times (particularly being on soft baby foods for so long..!) but the Dental Unit gave me all the support I needed and I
could get an appointment at a moment's notice. Dr Mark S Diacono RGN,BChD Hons(Leeds),FDS RCPS(Glasg) is a Specialist in Oral
Surgery and he did the initial operations and Nikolai Attard BChD, MSc Prost, PhD did the bridge fit and all the alterations with the
teeth after that. The whole process was not easy but the Dental Unit made it as easy as possible for me and I am now the proud owner
of a whole new set of upper front teeth, sparkly white and I can eat anything now! The aftercare has been excellent too, not only
with being shown how to look after them but knowing that I can call at any time if I have a problem. All the staff have been so
friendly and efficient which made the whole process much easier. I cannot recommend highly enough The Dental Unit at St James's
Hospital for dental treatment... also it was much cheaper than the quotes that I had from the UK which was also a huge plus! ... if you
come from abroad for treatment in Malta you will also be able to sample the delights of this fabulous island of Malta, it's histories,
its beaches and the lovely friendly Maltesers!

Let me start off by admitting that I suffered from dental phobia for many years. This fear caused me a lot of hardships in social life
since, due to my absence from visiting a dentist, my teeth grew more fragile and cavities reigned supreme. I came to a point that it
was make or break with my teeth, so I plucked some courage and made an appointment at the Dental Unit at Capua St. James hospital for a
consultation. Dr. Tim Vella Briifa was in for a hard time with me since I could not withstand the fear... Now I write two years, a
very satified client without any dental phobia. Dr. Tim helped me get out of it and now look forward to every appointment knowing that I
will go there and find the most extraordinary staff to help me out. Highly recommended just like a advertising the service of a five
star hotel.
